Wandering in those narrow passages among piles of orchids, jasmin garlands, lotus buds and huge rose bunches was a simply perfect start of the day. It felt like a greater luxury than any money could buy. The smells were wonderful; the prices were so low I was simultaneously happy and sad I couldn't physically take one of those big rose bunches to each of my friends. Still, I did not manage to resist buying a small jasmin arrangement every day, until my little hotel room smelled like a huge bar of soap and I was wondering how it is possible to sleep in such an overload of perfume.
